About the role
- Strategic planning and expansion of the sales division, including developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Leading, motivating and developing the sales team to maximize performance.
- Analyzing sales figures for all sales staff and developing measures to improve them.
- Providing targeted training for individual employees.
- Conducting market and competitor analyses to identify market opportunities and respond to trends and changes.
- Collaborating with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development) to optimize product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Monitoring sales performance and preparing regular reports for senior management.
- Responsible for meeting sales targets and budgets.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in a leadership position in sales, ideally in the building materials or a related industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
- Experience in customer acquisition and building customer relationships.
- Confidence in negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Technical affinity and interest in building materials and the construction industry.
