About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Australian marketing function, setting the strategy and direction to drive sustainable commercial growth.
  • Own key marketing and business performance metrics, including acquisition, retention, customer value and profitability.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans that align with Dabble's commercial objectives and growth ambitions.
  • Lead, coach and empower a high-performing team across social, community, content and campaigns.
  • Partner with Dabble's internal agency teams to deliver bold, creative work that cuts through and drives results.
  • Identify new opportunities to grow the brand, acquire customers and strengthen community engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Trading, Customer Engagement, Data, Compliance and global marketing teams to achieve shared business goals.
  • Manage marketing investment and resources to maximise commercial return.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all marketing activity is compliant with Australian wagering regulations and advertising standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven senior strategic experience leading high-performing marketing teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of driving acquisition, retention, customer value and business growth including experience managing substantial marketing budgets and making data-driven investment decisions.
  • Ability to translate commercial objectives into clear marketing strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • Significant experience in the wagering and/or sports betting industry, or relevant B2C technology industry.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong understanding of social media, content and community-led marketing.
  • Exposure to leading within a regulated environment, meeting compliance requirements and advertising standards.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities that make brands stand out in competitive markets.
  • Strong grasp of social media platforms and trends - Gen Z fluency will be highly regarded.
  • Passion for sport and building brands that genuinely connect with communities.
