About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform inspections, and complete repairs
  • Consult with Service Supervisor to plan effective work and travel schedule
  • Provide tools and parts to perform repair work on customer premises
  • Inspect, operate, and test machines to ensure proper functioning
  • Report information to Service Supervisor for billing purposes
  • Increase technical skills through training and literature
  • Maintain a neat appearance and keep service truck orderly
  • Serve as troubleshooters and train new servicemen

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working on heavy equipment required
  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
  • Experience working with diesel engines
  • 2+ years of field service experience preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR and physical
  • Experience working with customers
