About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform inspections, and complete repairs
Consult with Service Supervisor to plan effective work and travel schedule
Provide tools and parts to perform repair work on customer premises
Inspect, operate, and test machines to ensure proper functioning
Report information to Service Supervisor for billing purposes
Increase technical skills through training and literature
Maintain a neat appearance and keep service truck orderly
Serve as troubleshooters and train new servicemen

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working on heavy equipment required
Experience working with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
Experience working with diesel engines
2+ years of field service experience preferred
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR and physical
Experience working with customers
