About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform inspections, and complete repairs
- Consult with Service Supervisor to plan effective work and travel schedule
- Provide tools and parts to perform repair work on customer premises
- Inspect, operate, and test machines to ensure proper functioning
- Report information to Service Supervisor for billing purposes
- Increase technical skills through training and literature
- Maintain a neat appearance and keep service truck orderly
- Serve as troubleshooters and train new servicemen
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working on heavy equipment required
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
- Experience working with diesel engines
- 2+ years of field service experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR and physical
- Experience working with customers
