About the role
- Responsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities and providing technical expertise in the backup power generation market
- Work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users to promote and specify backup power generator solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present proposals
- Conduct product demonstrations
- Ensure successful project implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) preferred
- 3-5 years of sales engineering experience in the backup power generation or related industries
- Technical knowledge of backup power generators, including diesel and natural gas systems
- Experience working with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in preparing technical proposals and interpreting engineering drawings
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability and willingness to travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
