About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and execution of global processing aid sourcing strategy
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers worldwide
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for enzymes, filtration materials, cleaning materials, etc.
- Analyze global market trends, raw material developments, and supplier capabilities
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality, performance, and service standards
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Manage supplier risk assessments and business continuity planning
- Build and maintain market intelligence on processing aids technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Significant experience in the food industry
- Proven track record of supplier negotiations
- Strong understanding of global supply markets
- Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities
