About the role

  • Develop new formulations and concepts for the dairy sector
  • Focus on water-based preparations (fruit and non-fruit preparations)
  • Work with a wide range of ingredients
  • Provide technical advice to internal teams and external partners for existing and new products
  • Produce samples and evaluate them for sensory and technological properties
  • Maintain relevant data and recipes in company systems
  • Collaborate with technical project management, sales, product management, quality and production teams
  • Support the scale-up process through to implementation

Requirements

  • Degree in food technology, food chemistry or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience developing fruit preparations or similar products within a dairy environment
  • Knowledge of fruit and dairy processing
  • Familiarity with functional ingredients such as hydrocolloids
  • Structured, hands-on and team-oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Initial experience with SAP and standard MS Office applications
  • Fluent in German and English
