About the role

  • Implement group-wide and local, as well as product- or application-specific, pricing strategies
  • Conduct price and margin analyses and derive required actions
  • Contribute to the development of guidelines and standards for product costings and their application, including open costings for large customers
  • Prepare special costings for trading goods, inter-company pricing, development products and large customer projects
  • Analyze markets and ensure the systematic implementation of price adjustments in coordination with Sales
  • Use digital tools to approve customer quotations, e.g. when thresholds are undercut
  • Regularly exchange with pricing teams in other regions and deliver specialist training
  • Drive value-based pricing across the company

Requirements

  • A degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience, ideally in Pricing or Controlling, or an ambitious career starter with relevant knowledge
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Reliable, flexible and able to stay composed under pressure
  • Preferably able to work independently and take responsibility; open to new ideas
  • Very good written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Enjoys working with international teams and has an affinity for Sales
