About the role

  • You act as a Lean role model and Lean subject-matter expert
  • You promote a culture of transparency at the plant: you identify and clearly communicate problems or potential risks as they arise, and you proactively provide results-oriented support in developing solutions
  • You raise the plant's Lean maturity and Lean culture across the site by spreading global Lean standards and practices as well as supporting bottom-up improvement initiatives
  • You design and drive the Lean training program aligned with the plant strategy and existing gaps (e.g., training needs, candidate selection, coaching) at all levels
  • Together with plant management, you foster a culture of continuous improvement using the Operating System (e.g., DOWNTIME, Gemba, Kaizen)
  • You implement the Lean plant roadmap together with plant management and the regional Lean Production Manager with regard to resources, schedules and targets

Requirements

  • You hold a degree, preferably in (industrial) engineering or another business or technical discipline
  • You have several years of relevant professional experience in Lean and continuous improvement
  • You are familiar with Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Flow, OEE and Total Productive Maintenance
  • You communicate openly, clearly and confidently with all levels of the organization and enjoy cross-functional teamwork
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is part of your daily routine
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Your working languages are German and English
