Data Engineer

• Design, implement and maintain a robust, efficient and compliant application data repository and integration architecture.
• Work with Business and IT stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and provide application support.
• Coordinate, direct and oversee the work of third-party engineers through solution design reviews, code reviews and process reviews.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements like, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Research and analyze new technologies, methodologies and architectures for viability.
• Build and maintain a service-based architecture for web and mobile applications.
• Work independently within a scrum delivery team, with oversight from domain and enterprise architects, in support of business-critical applications.
• Contribute to the development of frameworks, guidelines, best practices and examples to ensure data structures and integration processes are accurate, compliant and secure.
• Implement telemetry indicators to monitor performance, quality metrics to track accuracy and access controls to ensure compliance.

Senior Data Engineer

Learning and Development

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs across all stages of development for Client Associates, Cashiers, and BOOMs, including live instruction, modular learning, and continuous education sessions.
• Key member of the Continuing Education Committee, including content review and development.
• Develop and maintain training materials and curriculum, ensuring content remains up to date with system enhancements, policy changes, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the Transition Team to support and provide personalized training for new advisors and support staff, plus post-transition coaching to ensure smooth integration.
• Partner cross functionally with Operations, Compliance, Supervision, Trading, and senior leadership to align training with firm priorities, regulatory expectations, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage and mentor the Branch Training Specialist, driving team goals through structured huddles, planning sessions, and performance coaching.
• Oversee the full training program lifecycle—from curriculum design to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Identify process gaps and training opportunities, leveraging participant feedback, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to enhance program effectiveness.
• Travels to branch locations to support transitions and provide on-site group training and individualized hands-on training to branch associates at the request of regional or branch leadership.
• Support key firm initiatives, including succession planning and advisor transitions, by providing operational readiness training and guidance.
• Champion a culture of learning, contributing to self service resources and expanding the Davidson University training library.

Branch Training Manager

Product Manager

• Works as a key team member on a cross functional team, responsible for continuous delivery of value to the customer through compelling and empowering customer experiences
• Collaborate with Product Manager and stakeholders to ensure work prioritization is aligned with D.A. Davidson’s priorities and overall product roadmap as well as to provide product development feedback and direction. Leans into the work of developing and socializing the product strategy with senior leaders across the company
• Continuously innovates and evolves the product in alignment with strategic priorities. Is responsible for creating, maintaining, and evolving the product roadmap
• Maintain and refine product backlog: Create user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritize all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy
• Ensure stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product. Is available for consultation during agile team planning and grooming sessions as needed. Coaches team members on effective product management and agile techniques to help mature the abilities of the entire team
• Facilitates efforts across other product teams to align product roadmaps and sprint plans, in an effort to focus on delivering the maximum business value to the organization
• As a functional leader of an agile team, ensures the team is aligned around similar goals and objectives and attending all team meetings
• Engages with customers and users on a regular basis to uncover implicit and explicit needs
• Develop and track key value drivers that measure effectiveness of product discovery and overall product performance, and communicate these to stakeholders and business leaders on a regular basis
• Foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
