Director

• Ensure Executed IAs remain in effect through COD for all assigned projects; monitor IA milestone status, manage toward milestone obligations, and proactively resolve conditions that could place the IA in breach.
• Negotiate GIA amendments and Facility Construction Agreements — lead internal reviews with legal, engineering, and development teams, and drive negotiations directly with utilities to timely resolution.
• Manage project-specific external consultants (EPE, INS, and others) to support compliance checklists: scope work, oversee deliverables, and ensure consultants operate effectively within GI team workflows.
• Own milestone payments: track payment schedules, coordinate with finance for disbursements, and maintain accurate records of all security and payment obligations under the GIA.
• Manage restudy and material modification administrative processes: identify triggers, prepare required submittals, and coordinate cross-functionally to minimize study risk and cost exposure.
• Lead deficiency, cure, and dispute response coordination: triage utility notices, develop response strategies, and interface with utilities and transmission providers to resolve open items.
• Support internal teams with market registration processes for assigned projects across multiple ISOs/RTOs, coordinating with utilities, ISOs, and internal commercial teams to achieve timely registration.
• Support and or lead Commissioning items: review utility and ISO/TO commissioning requirements, track deliverable schedules, and coordinate testing and energization milestones with internal teams and external parties (OEM, ISO, EPC).
• Maintain a centralized, real-time tracking system for post-IA obligations across the portfolio; report status to VP, Grid Integration and flag risks and escalations proactively.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Legal, and Finance teams to align on project schedules, budget impacts, and decision points related to GIA compliance.

Director, Interconnection Execution

Project Manager

• Support the Pre-Construction Department by actively participating in the EPC RFP process for assigned projects through contract execution
• Participate in a formal turnover and acceptance of the project from Pre-Construction to Project Execution and turnover to Asset Management / O&M
• Work to support, develop, and implement a project execution plan that is formally communicated to all project stakeholders
• Understand the implications of various technical options and guide engineering designs to achieve the best solution for each situation
• Ensure projects are adequately staffed, trained, and standard construction toolbox policies, procedures, and programs are adhered to ensuring all project communications, issues, change orders, and quality items are well documented
• Provide leadership during project construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, environmental, landowner, and other project requirements are met or exceeded
• Understand and manage all aspects of project construction contracts (EPC, Owner-Furnished Equipment, Interconnection Agreement, technical consultants) and hold the contractors and suppliers accountable to contractual requirements to ensure projects are completed on time and under budget
• Institute a culture of ownership and accountability by empowering team members to make decisions and holding them accountable to do so
• Consolidate, manage, and analyze budgets, costs, forecasts, and utilization against established financial goals
• Perform the planning and hiring of competent field staff to ensure adequate resources are in place for effective and timely execution of committed projects
• Develop effective relationships with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, landowners, and other stakeholders
• Provide strategic direction and manage the development of Construction Site Managers and provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to assigned staff at all levels
• Reinforce a team approach throughout the enterprise, both on projects and internal initiatives
• Effectively communicate relevant information to superiors
• Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas, processes, tools, etc.
• Manage the relationships with all external entities during the construction phase of the project such as local government, permitting agencies, pipeline utility companies, and interconnecting utilities
• Once awarded, managing construction contracts including tracking deliverables, schedules, cashflow, managing RFIs, change orders, and providing notices or dispute resolution if required
• Ensuring that the project complies with applicable Environmental, Health and Safety regulations
• Provide summary management reports on the status on all aspects of the project to multiple stakeholders.
• Interface with the lender’s engineer as required including monthly reporting, project review meetings, performance testing, draw certification, etc.
• Managing Operations and Maintenance contract handoff and coordination and ensure closeout of EPC contract at Final Acceptance
• Additional duties as required

Community Manager

• Lead and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies for projects across the assigned region
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, advocacy groups, and other key stakeholders
• Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop targeted outreach strategies
• Develop and implement plans that build public understanding and support for projects
• Establish and maintain relationships with elected officials, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and government entities, in collaboration with Government Affairs
• Represent the company at public hearings, community meetings, and critical discussions
• Identify permitting and regulatory risks and communicate them effectively to leadership
• Act as or support project spokespersons by leading media engagement, public presentations, and community forums, while coaching others to deliver clear, credible, and impactful messaging.
• Develop messaging, presentations, and written materials
• Partner with internal teams on media relations strategy and execution
• Develop engagement plans aligned with project goals
• Translate complex information into accessible communications
• Craft stories highlighting project value and community benefits
