About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team to participate in agile ceremonies including planning and estimation;
Write clean, testable, maintainable and scalable code that meets the stated acceptance criteria;
Collaborate with team members and other delivery teams to achieve outcomes;
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

What you’ll need

Demonstrated experience working in a small specialist team or multi-disciplinary team as a software engineer (developer) - cloud engineer in an enterprise-class environment delivering a range of enterprise IT systems based around Microsoft Azure.NET cloud and on-premises technologies, including integration of the two.
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced agile delivery environment to produce high quality software using an enterprise toolset and delivery framework.
The ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and via Video Conferencing.
Experience with any of the following: .NET, SQL, C# or other object-oriented programming language Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture CI/CD Practices
Previous experience in a Government Agency is desired, including the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.
Experience with any of the following: JavaScript / Typescript, Vue3 or other frontend frameworks Bash or PowerShell scripting Experience with source control (e.g. GIT) Unit / Automated testing Provisioning and managing cloud technology or infrastructure as code Experience provisioning Azure Data environments Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline automation
