About the role
- Develop and maintain Azure based web API and Portal applications
- Integrate various system components to achieve a seamless experience for users
- Provide technical advice on systems development
- Apply secure coding practices
- Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure
- Ensure best practices and Departmental standards are applied
- Create and review technical/release documentation
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate and mentor team members
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in software development
- Demonstrated experience implementing secure web based business solutions
- Experience developing web APIs using Azure API Manager
- Experience in customer facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET
- Experience developing web applications using Angular or React
- Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- Experience with unit/integration/automation testing
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL and Azure Service Bus
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for code development
- Extensive experience developing on Azure platforms
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
