About the role
- Develop and maintain Azure based web API and Portal applications
- Integrate various system components for a seamless end user experience
- Provide technical advice on system development issues
- Apply secure coding practices
- Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure
- Ensure best practices and departmental standards are applied
- Create and review technical/release documentation
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony
- Undertake additional duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in .Net development
- Experience developing web APIs using Azure API Manager
- Experience in customer facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET
- Experience developing web applications using either Angular or React
- Familiarity with the Information Security Manual (ISM) and its controls
- Experience with unit/integration/automation testing including xUnit, nUnit, Selenium, Playwright.Net
- Experience in cloud-based solution implementation with Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Manager.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for code development and management
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and collaborate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
