Translate complex architectural objectives into actionable work packages and schedules for the team’s architects and strategists.
Establish and maintain the single source of truth for the section’s workload, managing resource allocation between BAU (ECR assessments) and strategic projects.
Translate technical risks and architectural issues into plain business language for stakeholders and senior executives.
Proactively identify and manage technical dependencies between DVA’s internal teams and our strategic deliverables.
Author high-quality status reports, executive briefs, and board papers that accurately reflect technical progress.

Requirements

Technical Fluency: a strong background in ICT with the ability to understand cloud architectures (e.g. Azure), data platforms, and software development lifecycles.
Delivery Management: proven experience using project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, or Hybrid) to delivery complex technical programs in government or enterprise setting.
Strategic Synthesis: the ability to synthesise updates from diverse technical streams (security, data, cloud) into cohesive, executive-level reporting.
Problem Solver: a track record of unblocking technical teams by navigating organisational lines and managing cross-team dependencies.
Governance Knowledge: understanding of the Whole-Of-Government digital environment, including the DTA Investment Oversight Framework and ICT budgeting process, is highly desirable.
