About the role

  • Support the delivery of strategic data assets and data products by collaborating with business and technical users to author business and technical requirements.
  • Develop a traceability framework to ensure project deliverables link to agreed business outcomes.
  • Elicit and document business and technical requirements to support the Data & Analytics transformation program.
  • Analyse and document business process and data flows to provide current and future state context.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, meetings, and working groups.
  • Review and provide feedback on business and technical design documents to ensure alignment with expected outcomes.
  • Input to the design and implementation of solutions that deliver to business and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance
  • Demonstrated expertise leading hands-on business and technical requirement development and stakeholder validation in a large-scale business data and analytics transformation program.
  • Experience implementing Data and/or Analytics products and services and accompanying data architecture (e.g. Data Models, ETL, data governance, security).
  • Demonstrated expertise documenting data and process flows to analyse and provide context to business and technical requirements.
  • Ability to gather, analyse and translate business data to meaningful and actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency with JIRA and Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Practical Agile, Hybrid and/or Waterfall delivery framework experience.
  • Experience in working with diverse project, in-house development, and vendor teams to deploy complex, integrated technologies and effect business change. (Desirable)
  • Experience as a scrum master. (Desirable)
  • Experience with SAS Viya 4 platform. (Desirable)
  • Hands on data analysis skills in interrogating data, source to target data mapping and data lineage (e.g. SQL, Python). (Desirable)
