About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the training and education strategy end-to-end, spanning pre-engagement onboarding, admin fundamentals, hands-on labs, certification, and partner accreditation
Define and defend the program's ROI model and report outcomes to executive stakeholders
Prioritize investment across immediate initiatives and longer-term capabilities
Direct the design of self-service learning paths, instructor-led training, and hands-on lab curricula
Establish curriculum governance as the product evolves
Evaluate responsible uses of AI for localization, adaptive learning paths, and an AI tutor
Build role-based customer certification programs with defensible, proctored exams
Design partner certification pathways enabling accredited partners to independently deliver and support implementations
Hire, lead, and grow the Training and Education team
Own the technology stack and vendor relationships across LMS, content authoring, hands-on labs, exam delivery, and digital badging
Negotiate contracts and manage the budget
Build and evolve an outcomes dashboard covering training completion, lab completion, certified users, support volume, and onboarding readiness
Represent the function to the Chief Customer Officer and cross-functional leadership, translating program activity into business impact

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years leading customer-facing training, education, or certification programs
Experience building or scaling an external learning organization
Experience ideally at a B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure company
Track record owning a P&L or budget for a training/education function
Experience with vendor selection and contract negotiation for LMS, authoring platforms, lab environments, and exam proctoring
Experience designing certification and partner accreditation programs based on demonstrated competency
Comfort setting strategy for executive stakeholders while managing certification exams, lab environments, and learning platforms
People leadership experience, including hiring and developing instructional designers, trainers, and lab engineers
Fluency measuring training outcomes including completion, certification pass rates, support deflection, and adoption
Background in product management or a security/data-focused product function is a strong plus
