About the role

  • Ensure complete and accurate employee data and compensation plan details across all relevant systems
  • Reconcile and analyze large, complex datasets to maintain accurate variable compensation, performance tracking, plan attribution, and sales hierarchies
  • Administer the end-to-end commission process: data validation, calculation, approval, and timely payout execution
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, and HR to support plan design and implementation of new compensation programs
  • Reconcile commission statements and proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide clear, timely responses to commission-related inquiries from sales team members
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize compensation operations and increase accuracy, scalability, and transparency
  • Develop and deliver dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into compensation performance and program effectiveness
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to support program innovation and scalability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales compensation administration or sales operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, etc.)
  • Experience with commission/incentive compensation tools especially CaptivateIQ is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Understanding of sales processes, incentive structures, and common compensation models (e.g., quota attainment, accelerators, SPIFFs)
  • Experience working in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environment is a plus
