Own email strategy: Define short- and long-term strategies to nurture our database through the buying funnel, delivering the right message at the right time to the right audience.
Improve deliverability, engagement, and conversion rates.
Monitor overall cadence: Maintain a holistic view of email frequency and messaging across campaigns, nurture tracks, and newsletters to ensure consistent yet non-intrusive engagement, and prevent email fatigue.
Define personas and segments: Develop and refine buyer personas to inform targeting, messaging, and personalization strategies across the email lifecycle.
Design nurture tracks: Build and manage automated journeys tailored to key audiences (e.g. Data Security, Cloud Security, Compliance, CISO-level, etc.) that move prospects through the funnel with relevant, timely, personalized content.
Own execution: Build, QA, and deploy emails in our marketing automation platform (Marketo), ensuring flawless delivery and adherence to brand standards.
Champion quality and empathy: Step into the shoes of our audience, collaborating with campaign and digital teams to ensure that only the most effective messages and content are sent, and ensure every email meets best practices for engagement, accessibility, and value.
Develop insights and reporting: Track performance, analyze engagement, and translate data into actionable recommendations for optimization.
Own testing, automation and personalization: Strategize for A/B tests, create and refine automated, personalized nurture programs that align with the buyer journey and key business objectives.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in email or lifecycle marketing, preferably in B2B tech or cybersecurity.
Strong strategic thinking for overall email programs, ability to take ownership of email marketing strategy holistically as part of our marketing funnel.
Strong understanding of segmentation, automation, and personalization best practices.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance data.
Passion for understanding audiences and communicating complex topics simply.
