About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the technical development of our new products (ebikes, cargo bikes, e-mopeds) from scratch until they are ready for series production.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturing and assembly feasibility and resolve any technical issues during the specification and development cycles.
  • Develop our existing products by testing and evaluating integrated hardware components and finding alternative parts for the bikes (practical, mechanical and electrical components).
  • Travel to our production sites to monitor the work of the manufacturers (Europe and Asia).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Background in Mechanical -, Design-, Industrial-, Aeronautical-, Automotive- or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • E-bike or bike development (not mandatory).
  • Working with Manufacturers and suppliers (Asia based).
  • Hardware development and project management.
  • Product life cycle management.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
