About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product master data across ERP platforms and related business systems.
- Analyze, manage, and optimize product records, including attributes, specifications, pricing, supplier information, and product classifications.
- Collaborate with Operating Company Purchasing and Pricing teams to ensure timely and accurate product information that supports sales growth, procurement effectiveness, inventory optimization, and digital commerce initiatives.
- Conduct ongoing data quality audits and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies to maintain the highest levels of data integrity.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including new product introductions, supplier changes, pricing updates, and product maintenance initiatives.
- Execute and monitor product data synchronization processes established by the Regional Product File Manager.
- Ensure ERP product records remain aligned with supplier and manufacturer content managed through Sonepar’s Master Data Management (MDM) organization.
- Support enterprise data governance, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance data quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for product data management processes, ERP systems, product classifications, and data governance standards.
- Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to Product File Specialists to ensure adherence to data management best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in wholesale electrical distribution, industrial distribution, supply chain operations, product data management, master data governance, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems, Product Information Management (PIM) platforms, and/or B2B/B2C eCommerce environments.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, maintain, and improve large-scale product data sets while ensuring exceptional levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Experience collaborating across multiple business functions to support operational, commercial, and customer-facing objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
