About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage branch performance to assure alignment with all policies, practices and culture of the organization.
  • Oversee preparation of branch budget for Terre Haute, and monitor actual performance.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor competitive conditions in the territory, and build relationships to gain market share.
  • Oversee branch inventory status with daily reconciliation of discrepancies and adjustments.
  • Interact regularly with customers to drive customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Support initial and ongoing training and qualifications of all branch employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address branch personnel issues.
  • Interview and hire applicants for branch positions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of experience in business, sales or operations management.
  • Experience in the electrical distribution industry is desired.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales and Marketing or related field.
  • Demonstrated customer and vendor relationship building and maintenance skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, associates, or regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and general business documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, coach to get results through others and motivate and develop talent.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
