About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage branch performance to assure alignment with all policies, practices and culture of the organization.
- Oversee preparation of branch budget for Terre Haute, and monitor actual performance.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers and suppliers.
- Monitor competitive conditions in the territory, and build relationships to gain market share.
- Oversee branch inventory status with daily reconciliation of discrepancies and adjustments.
- Interact regularly with customers to drive customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Support initial and ongoing training and qualifications of all branch employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address branch personnel issues.
- Interview and hire applicants for branch positions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of experience in business, sales or operations management.
- Experience in the electrical distribution industry is desired.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Sales and Marketing or related field.
- Demonstrated customer and vendor relationship building and maintenance skills.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, associates, or regulatory agencies.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and general business documents.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, coach to get results through others and motivate and develop talent.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
