About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate electrical products or solutions.
- Provide product information, pricing, and quotes to clients in a timely manner.
- Enter, track, bill, and expedite customer orders and vendor purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with sales team to develop sales strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments.
- Participate in training gaining electrical product knowledge and applications.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of sales, electrical or distribution experience and/or product and application knowledge.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions/calculations.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
- Proven attentiveness to detail coupled with problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Ability to use a keyboard to enter text or data into a computer.
- Ability to speak to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
- Clarity of vision ability of approximately 20 inches or less.
