About the role

  • Provide personal, telephone and digital advice and support to our customers regarding questions and concerns
  • Technically competent handling of customer inquiries, independently developing solution proposals and preparing quotations
  • Proactively sell, promote and implement Sonepar-specific sales concepts
  • Process incoming customer orders and ensure end-to-end quotation and project tracking
  • Collaborate with our experienced and successful sales team
  • Acquire new customers and build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training with several years of professional experience in wholesale, or a comparable qualification in customer service within a sales environment
  • Enthusiasm and affinity for solution-oriented sales of electrotechnical products and services
  • Strong customer orientation, enjoyment in serving customers, assertiveness and decisiveness, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Confident use of MS Office programs and CRM; knowledge of SAP desirable
