About the role
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers (project-related) as well as for day-to-day business
- Implement procurement strategies
- Prepare analyses and statistics
- Process and manage orders and dispositions for our internal and external customers
- Prepare quotes, follow up on offers, and enter orders
- Participate in projects
- Maintain order confirmations and monitor/ensure agreed delivery dates
- Resolve delivery and invoicing issues
Requirements
- Vocational training in electrical engineering or a commercial apprenticeship in wholesale/foreign trade or industry desirable
- Experience in purchasing electrical products and relevant product knowledge in cables and wires advantageous
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Proficient user of MS Office products, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Team player with conflict-resolution abilities
