About the role

  • Provide personal, telephone and digital consultation and support to our customers for enquiries and concerns
  • Technically proficient handling of customer enquiries, independently developing solution proposals and preparing quotations
  • Actively sell, promote and implement our Sonepar-specific sales concepts
  • Process incoming customer orders and ensure continuous follow-up of quotations and project tracking
  • Collaborate with our experienced and successful sales team
  • Acquire new customers and build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training with several years of professional experience in wholesale, or a comparable qualification with several years of proven experience in the technical wholesale sector and solid knowledge of electrotechnical products and environments
  • Enthusiasm and an affinity for solution-oriented sales of electrotechnical products and services
  • Strong customer orientation, enjoyment in customer service, assertiveness, decision-making ability and resilience
  • Confident use of MS Office applications and CRM systems; knowledge of SAP is desirable
