About the role

  • Provide in-person, telephone and digital advice and support to our customers for questions and concerns, with a focus on installation technology
  • Technically competent handling of customer inquiries, independently developing solution proposals and preparing quotations
  • Active selling, promotion and implementation of our Sonepar-specific sales concepts
  • Processing incoming customer orders and ensuring continuous quotation and project tracking
  • Collaboration with our experienced and successful sales team
  • New customer acquisition, and building and maintaining long-term customer relationships

Requirements

  • Completed technical training with several years of professional experience in wholesale, or a comparable qualification with several years of verifiable experience in technical wholesale and solid knowledge of the electrotechnical environment
  • Enthusiasm and affinity for solution-oriented sales of electrical products and services
  • Strong customer focus and enjoyment in customer-oriented work, assertiveness and decision-making ability, as well as resilience
  • Confident use of MS Office programs and CRM; knowledge of SAP desirable
