About the role
- Prepare and reconcile monthly Sales and Use Tax returns for multiple legal entities
- Troubleshoot online filings and payment issues
- Assist with onboarding new legal entities to tax engines and preparation software
- Document and enhance Sales and Use Tax processes
- Research and respond to questions from non-tax personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned, in compliance with company policies and standards
- Adapt to new situations, people, culture, and technology, demonstrating curiosity and a willingness to learn
- Challenge the status quo and seek continuous improvement aligned with business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology (required)
- At least one year of relevant experience in accounting, tax, or IT
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint, Word) and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
- Familiarity with CCH AnswerConnect (Wolters Kluwer), Vertex Returns suite, and transactional tax processes (preferred)
