About the role

  • Oversee branch sales performance, business plans, customer service levels, and project status.
  • Regularly engage with customers to enhance service levels and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee the initial and ongoing training of all branch employees, ensuring they meet qualification standards.
  • Interview and hire candidates for various branch positions, ensuring the selection of qualified team-oriented associates.
  • Monitor and manage branch inventory, including daily reconciliation of discrepancies and adjustments.
  • Negotiate pricing and resolve issues with vendors in collaboration with local and company purchasing departments to secure favorable terms.
  • Prepare branch budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met.

Requirements

  • Understanding and proven experience of best practices in managing exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Ability to train and develop associates while driving a positive culture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting information to top management, customers, vendors, employees, and the public.
  • Ability to leverage knowledge of supply chain, logistics, operations inventory, and sale profitability to increase efficiency, drive decision-making, and coach associates.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization and customer base.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and provide innovative solutions.
  • Proficient in working in various systems such as CRMs, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
