About the role

  • Lead a team of software engineers/developers focused on e-commerce, mobile apps, and internal web applications
  • Drive technical delivery and end-to-end solution architecture for web and mobile projects
  • Promote continuous improvements for the systems mentioned above through application design and deployment
  • Support budget discussions and optimizations
  • Perform capacity planning for the entire reporting line
  • Monitor code quality and define coding standards
  • Present solutions and estimates to IT leadership
  • Ensure compliance with IT processes and policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in solution architecture and development on Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Salesforce B2C Commerce is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge/awareness of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) is highly desirable
  • Practical experience with open-source stacks (Java and Spring Boot or React and Node.js, Docker, container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, AWS or Azure cloud) or a combination thereof is an advantage
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Good understanding of mobile development platforms
  • Experience in project and stakeholder management is a big plus
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English is required; German language skills are a plus
