About the role
- Take ownership of the entire apparel design lifecycle, from concept through to final product implementation
- Translate consumer insights and cultural trends into design concepts
- Collaborate with product management to ensure a smooth development process
- Select and test fabrics and materials in coordination with cross-functional teams
- Ensure design integrity during production and sample development
- Organize the seasonal design calendar and coordinate key milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field
- Extensive professional experience in apparel design, product development, or design management within the fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle industry
- Proven ability to establish and manage the design process from ideation to production readiness in an established company
- Strong knowledge of materials, construction, patternmaking, and silhouette development
- Excellent proficiency in design and PLM tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, Photoshop, PLM systems)
- Demonstrated experience in design project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong understanding of market trends, innovation, and sustainability in the apparel industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design intent
- Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
