About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and end-to-end ownership of cloud solution architectures on Azure: from requirements analysis and conceptual design through to handover into stable production operations
Development and operation of automations, workflows, Infrastructure as Code and self-service tools that increase productivity across the team
Cloud platform lifecycle management: cost optimization, capacity planning and continuous improvement of existing solutions
Ensuring observability, logging, resilience and cloud security according to established architectural principles
Active coordination of changes, migrations and technical transition projects in close collaboration with the operations team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Bachelor's/Master's) and several years of hands-on experience with Azure solutions in production environments
Deep understanding of cloud architectures: IAM, networking, security architecture, PaaS services, system integration and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Bicep)
Experience in development and automation in a cloud context: Azure DevOps, PowerShell, API integrations and system integrations
Independent, structured working style: you design, decide and deliver. Initiative and end-to-end thinking come naturally to you
Fluent German and good English for working in a multilingual environment
