Security Engineer

• Responsibility for the strategic development, hardening, and stable operation of the Microsoft Entra ID environment.

Entra ID Security Specialist

Systems Engineer

• Plan, build and operate on-premises platforms with a focus on directory services, federated authentication, public key infrastructure (PKI) and identity & access management (IAM)
• Configure, optimize and integrate these services across the ICT landscape – including network access control, multi-factor authentication and business-critical applications
• Provide subject-matter input to the overall ICT architecture as a specialist for authentication services and their interfaces to adjacent systems
• Take platform ownership for all authentication services across the entire ICT infrastructure
• Develop and standardize the authentication services for high availability, data security and integrity – with a clear focus on automation
• Operate the authentication platforms actively and provide hands-on support to the team in day-to-day ICT infrastructure operations
• Work closely in an interdisciplinary way with specialists from networking, virtualization and server infrastructure
• Carry out in-depth fault analyses, performance diagnostics and capacity planning for the systems under responsibility
• Create and maintain system documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

IAM System Engineer, 80–100%

• Establish and implement an ISO 27001-compliant ISMS and ensure successful ISO 14298 re-certification
• In a later step, FISMA compliance will also be addressed
• Serve as the central point of contact for group companies (CH, DE, US, UK) on IT and information security as well as data protection
• Provide active, hands-on support and advise group IT and business units on measures to increase information and IT security on topics such as information classification, protection needs analysis, and asset management
• Co-responsible for the group’s overall information and IT security regarding engineering, operations, and risk management for both on-premises and cloud environments
• Identify vulnerabilities in IT/OT security and define, demand, and conceptually prepare necessary corrective and protective measures
• Prepare, support, and follow up on internal and external audits: ISO 27001, ISO 14298, FISMA, and customer audits
• Analyze and handle security incidents in cooperation with the external SOC partner, coordinate penetration tests, and support IT and line projects on information security matters
• Design, prepare, and conduct awareness campaigns and information security training
• Draft and revise policies and directives

Information Security Specialist
