About the role
- Lead Audit Projects
- Manage multiple, complex internal audit projects at the same time
- Plan audit scope, timelines, and staffing with business partners
- Review process documentation and identify key risks and controls
- Oversee audit testing, quality, and progress
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource needs
- Audit Execution & Reporting
- Perform and review audit testing and documentation
- Analyze results and assess business impact
- Draft clear, concise audit issues and reports for senior leadership
- Communicate findings and work with business teams to resolve issues
- Team & Department Support
- Coach and review work of junior audit staff
- Support department initiatives, training, and team development
- Promote integrity, inclusion, and a collaborative team culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or auditing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or progress toward certification (preferred)
- Audit project planning and project management experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of business processes, risks, and internal controls (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills (preferred)
