Build strategic partnerships with assigned producers and customers to achieve profitable growth and cross sell/standalone objectives
Understand and meet customer needs using Aetna’s and CVS’ combined products and services
Oversee targeted business prospects to develop new opportunities and cross sell business
Manage and build producer relations depending on book of business or market segment
Identify opportunities to partner with clients using Aetna's full product array (fully vs. self-insured, product combinations, industry specializations)
Develop, execute, and communicate company objectives aligned with prospect objectives and employee benefits strategy
Coordinate sales materials, testimonials, and SME support for client presentations
Deliver organized polished presentations with benefits tied to constituents’ needs
Collaborate with underwriting to prepare competitive quotes for targeted prospects
Create open enrollment plan with producer and plan sponsor to maximize enrollment
Monitor industry information and competitive environment to position Aetna’s strengths
Ensure product, pricing and services meet client's needs while meeting Aetna revenue growth and profit objectives
Collaborate cross-functionally to uncover profitable growth and support post-sale activities
Participate in constituent meetings including finalist, educational, and capabilities presentations
Manage and coordinate integration of client’s and Aetna’s internal organizations to complete sales, installation, and servicing
Requirements
3+ years of relevant industry experience (Sales experience within employee health benefits)
Health & Life Insurance license
Must be willing to travel within the Market
Must reside in commuting distance of the Market
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong business acumen, presentation skills and ability to work independently
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Established relationships with Broker Channel (preferred)
Carrier Sales experience (preferred)
Salesforce experience (preferred)
Prior Dental/Vision Sales Experience (preferred)
