About the role
- Assist in the coordination and maintenance of key enterprise Capital reporting processes, including consolidation of monthly CAPEX actuals, budgeting, forecasting, and ROIC analysis
- Report directly to the Senior Manager of FP&A (Capital Planning) and partner with business segment Capital planning leads to support and maintain a consistent enterprise process
- Support the Anaplan Capital system used across the enterprise for processes and technological enhancements; collaborate with Anaplan IT and Center of Excellence
- Work across the Enterprise Planning & Performance Management team to provide accurate data and analysis in a timely fashion
- Use historical analysis of ROIC to inform capital allocation strategy and drive desired returns; integrate ROIC into corporate strategy and M&A/investment decisions
- Ensure accuracy of data prepared for monthly actuals, quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Document detailed processes to create training materials, standard operating procedures, and resources for internal and external partners
- Support ad-hoc projects and governance matters related to capital planning, reporting, and governance as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional work experience with financial analysis involvement, including budgeting forecasting, and financial reporting
- 3+ years Microsoft Excel experience (skillset using functions such as PIVOT tables, VLOOKUP, Filters, and Sumi(s))
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams environment; SharePoint
- Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment and build partnerships with key constituents
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines
- Knowledge of Healthcare, PBM, insurance industry helpful but not required (preferred)
- Experience with SAP/S4 and Anaplan Financial Reporting and Planning tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of dashboard applications such as Tableau; QuickBase, Power BI (or other similar technologies) preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
