About the role
- Apply quality engineering practices across ACAS benefits testing for assigned initiatives.
- Support early validation of requirements, benefit configurations, and adjudication logic to reduce downstream defects.
- Ensure quality gates and test readiness criteria are followed within programs.
- Support the adoption of automation‑enabled testing for benefits and claims adjudication scenarios.
- Work with automation engineers to leverage existing test frameworks and reusable assets.
- Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency through automation and improved test design.
- Execute and support risk‑based testing approaches, focusing on high‑impact benefit and claim scenarios.
- Analyze defects to determine root cause, claim exposure, and potential member or client impact.
- Escalate high‑risk findings and trends to senior QE or COE leadership.
- Manage and support a team of quality engineers and testers (onshore/offshore).
- Review test artifacts, execution results, and defect documentation for quality and completeness.
- Provide coaching and guidance to strengthen testing rigor and QE skills within the team.
- Track and report quality metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and execution effectiveness.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce rework and post‑release corrections.
- Collaborate closely with configuration teams, business SMEs, and engineering partners.
- Communicate testing outcomes, risks, and defects clearly to project and program stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5 + years of experience in healthcare technology or operations, with exposure to claims adjudication and benefits configuration.
- 2 + years of experience in quality engineering, testing, or QA roles, including team or work‑stream leadership.
- Hands‑on experience with claims adjudication systems and benefits testing (ACAS or similar platforms).
- Experience executing scenario‑based and risk‑based testing.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
