Responsible for defining, building, and scaling enterprise AI and Machine Learning solutions aligned to CVS Health’s strategic business objectives
Bridging business strategy and advanced AI engineering
Providing architectural direction, delivery oversight, and leadership across cross‑functional teams including AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders

Requirements

5–7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or data science, with proven delivery of production‑grade AI solutions
Strong hands‑on expertise in AI/ML concepts including: Machine learning and deep learning
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Generative AI and large language models (LLMs)
Model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
Proficiency in programming, with Python required; experience with Java, Scala, or R also expected
Experience designing and deploying scalable AI systems in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
MLOps and data pipeline experience, including model lifecycle management, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability practices
Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, guiding architecture decisions, and overseeing multiple concurrent AI initiatives
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and related tooling preferred
Knowledge of big‑data and distributed processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and modern data platforms preferred
Experience implementing AI governance, data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices, particularly in regulated industries preferred
Demonstrated ability to define AI strategy and roadmaps, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term platform evolution preferred
Background in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated domains (HIPAA/GDPR familiarity is beneficial) preferred
Prior experience leading cross‑functional teams and partnering with product, business, and executive leadership preferred.
