Lead, coach, and grow a team of senior and principal AI, backend, and front-end engineers
Define technical strategy, roadmaps, and priorities in partnership with Product
Establish standards and processes that enable consistent, predictable delivery
Scale and enhance production AI systems to improve reliability, performance, and impact
Hire and develop top-tier engineering talent
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and responsible AI expectations
Represent the team in cross-functional and leadership forums

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years experience in engineering leadership roles
Experience leading senior or principal-level engineers in backend or platform-focused teams
Experience designing and operating distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native services at scale
Experience delivering and supporting production systems with high reliability, observability, and testing standards
Proven ability to partner closely with Product to define roadmaps and drive execution
Experience establishing team processes, engineering standards, and delivery practices
Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production applications (e.g., APIs, tool usage, orchestration)
