About the role
- Responsible for defining user stories and prioritizing the team backlog
- Partnering with the Product Lead to drive day to day development for Retail Pharmacy initiatives
- Streamlining the execution of team priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features/components for the team
- Responsible for team backlog maintenance/prioritization
- Collaborating with Agile teams to continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline deliverables, and identify and address dependencies, opportunities, and risks
- Working with Product Managers and stakeholders to decompose features into prioritized user stories that deliver value and tangible business results
- Validating that the story meets acceptance criteria and has met acceptance tests; approving stories as complete
- Participating in daily sprint ceremonies to facilitate quality and speed of delivery; holding team accountable for what they committed to deliver
- Maintaining relationships within and outside the local team and preparing user stories for inclusion in Program Increment Planning
- Collaborating with the team to produce the PI system demo and presenting it to program stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related fields
- 2+ years of experience delivering digital products, features, and/or user stories within an Agile delivery model
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with requirements management tools such as Jira
- 2+ years of experience working in the healthcare sector or other highly regulated industries
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex concepts for both internal partners and external customers
- Demonstrates understanding of how product decisions impact end users and internal stakeholders, with a thoughtful and customer‑centric approach
- 1+ year of leadership experience with the ability to drive collaboration, engage, influence, and inspire cross functional teams
- Familiarity with agile processes, such as scrum, Kanban, and/or the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Experienced in user story writing.
