About the role
- Handle inbound customer service inquiries through phone, internet or written correspondence
- Engage, consult and educate members on Aetna plans and tools
- Document and track contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors
- Answer questions regarding member rights and responsibilities
- Assist with complaints, grievances and appeals
- Provide education to providers on self-service options
- Process claim referrals and manage incoming requests
Requirements
- 6 months of Customer Service experience
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and tools
- Knowledge of health plan benefits and regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or call center environments (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
