About the role
- Provide top-level analysis and determination of malicious activity
- Provide training and support to Jr and Sr level analysts
- Act as the last line of review before escalation to the Response team
- Create and maintain SOPs and other department documents
- Review other analysts’ work
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ total years of experience in either an IT Help Desk or SOC style role
- 2+ years of experience with networking concepts & protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, VPN, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with various identity and access management / authentication concepts and technologies
- 1+ years of experience in Insider Risk
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies
- Time management skills
- Self-learning abilities
- Ability to collect data from disparate systems for analysis
- Certifications: Network+, Security+, CySA+, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GREM, GCFA, GSEC, CEH, CISSP, AWS, Blue Team Level 1 or 2, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer or equivalent
