About the role
- Work closely with security teams to establish and enforce security best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and address compliance requirements
- Configure and manage the infrastructure as code using tools to enable repeatable and automated deployments
- Assess the existing infrastructure, plan the migration strategy, and execute the migration process with minimal downtime
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between cloud solutions and business objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Implementing access controls, encryption mechanisms, network security, and identity and access management (IAM) policies
- Experience in design and architecting cloud infrastructure solutions based on the requirements
- Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code principles to enable infrastructure changes and updates through version-controlled code repositories.
- Data Science Council of America (DASCA) certification or Associate Big Data Engineer (ABDE) certification preferred
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, services, or deployments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience)
