Play a pivotal role combining market development expertise with hands-on technical and clinical support for CVRx technologies
Develop and drive territory strategies, including resource development and deployment to meet patient implant and revenue goals
Ensure execution of strategies to deliver on metrics within the territory
Demonstrate expert proficiency with Salesforce, dashboards, forecasting, and CVRx commercial business applications and coach others
Maintain a thorough understanding of complex physiological and technical principles pertaining to CVRx technologies and therapies
Support implants and follow-up procedures and visits; provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to healthcare providers and CVRx employees
Receive technical inquiries and research solutions to questions or problems
Represent CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure understanding of clinical therapy
Provide on-call clinical support, in-service education, and training for physicians and hospital personnel
Provide R&D support through customer feedback for product enhancements or new product ideas
Adhere to sales management processes and reporting systems; maintain accurate records of devices and programmers in Salesforce
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must currently be in the Nashville, TN metropolitan area to be considered a candidate for this remote Territory Manager opportunity
BS or equivalent degree in health sciences, engineering, or business (or combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree)
7-10+ years of experience in medical device industry, or combination of academic, clinical and business development experience with implantable medical devices
Experience with products for cardiology, heart failure therapeutic devices, cardiac surgery therapeutic devices, or related device sales
Ability to master medical/surgical concepts and active implantable medical device technology and execute commercial strategies
Knowledge of market and competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages
Patient-focused with ability to work through insurance authorization challenges
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with customers and CVRx staff
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing sales skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to earn respect of others
Ability to forecast performance and deliver to goals
Self-motivated, high achiever with perseverance and resilience
Able to nurture relationship-based selling for long-term engagement
Able to travel up to 60-75% annually; some overnight travel required
Must have a reliable car for transportation with a valid driver’s license in good standing
Valid identification for domestic air travel
Able to lift up to 10 lbs comfortably
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet lawful pre-screening and site-specific credentialing requirements
