About the role

  • Carry out a variety of administrative duties as a virtual assistant
  • Answer emails and provide customer service
  • Handle email marketing and scheduling meetings
  • Fulfill e-commerce orders and perform other adhoc tasks
  • Keep retail and wholesale e-commerce platforms up to date with promotions and discounts
  • Manage all e-commerce pricing, inventory, and updates with new products
  • Optimize platforms with updated keywords and trends
  • Create a monthly social media calendar and post
  • Send out email newsletters and campaigns via Email and Mailchimp
  • Provide customer support for all e-commerce clients and buyers
  • Attend meetings and keep track of minutes
  • Direct team members like graphic artists and copywriters
  • Maintain statistics and records in operational reports
  • Carry out additional tasks as needed
  • Enter invoices and customers in QuickBooks
  • Manage Inventory File

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel
  • Background in e-commerce platforms, such as: Faire, Shopify, Amazon
  • Medium understanding in SEO, Google and Facebook ads
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • A strong sense of organization
  • Must be able to work independently and consistently
  • Must be honest
  • Expertise with cloud-based platforms including Google Docs, WhatsApp, Trello, Toggl, QuickBooks and other chat tools for remote teams
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Meticulous and highly detail-oriented
  • Quick acquisition of new concepts or techniques
  • Capacity to function in a hectic setting
  • Positive, upbeat disposition
  • Person has to be available for work between 8 AM to 3:30 PM EST
