About the role
- Own the full design process
- Lead the design lifecycle for your product area, from discovery through to delivery & iteration.
- Frame problems clearly, aligning on user needs, constraints & what success looks like.
- Explore early solution directions through sketches, wireframes & lightweight prototypes.
- Validate ideas through research & testing, iterating based on evidence + feedback.
- Run post-release reviews, analysing user behaviour, qualitative feedback & key metrics to inform what to do next.
- Plan & deliver iterative improvements based on insight, experimentation & changing user needs.
- Work pragmatically, knowing when to move quickly on simple problems and when to go deeper on more complex ones.
- Design, prototype, and document high-quality solutions across mobile and web, maintaining consistency and craft.
- Partner closely with Engineers throughout delivery to ensure smooth handover and high-quality implementation.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system as the product grows.
- Use research, experimentation, and analytics to inform decisions, validate outcomes, and iterate.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design across everything you build.
- Actively contribute to the Design community through critiques, feedback sessions, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate openly with other Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to raise the quality of work and decision-making.
- Promote design best practices and continuous learning across teams.
- Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, synthesis, prototyping, and content creation where they meaningfully improve quality and speed.
Requirements
- Proven experience owning end-to-end Product Design within a product-led environment
- Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS & Android), with a strong understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
- High proficiency in Figma, including design systems, prototyping and developer handoff
- A solid grasp of UX research methodologies, with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insight
- A collaborative mindset, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data partners
- A strong sense of craft, balanced with commercial awareness and outcome-driven thinking
- A mindset of continuous learning, staying curious about evolving tools, methods and technologies
