About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Author, revise, and maintain the Bank’s overall Credit Policy
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on all credit policy matters
Evaluate and approve complex commercial credit requests
Collaborate with relationship managers to develop financing solutions
Oversee ongoing monitoring and management of the commercial loan portfolio
Prepare credit reports and portfolio analytics for the Board Credit Committee
Act as the Lending subject matter expert for core lending technology platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of commercial credit experience
Expertise across multiple loan types (CRE, C&I, ABL, or similar)
Proven experience in credit policy development, credit administration, and portfolio management
Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex financial information
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or graduate degree preferred
Technology Skills: Proficiency with core lending and credit systems (e.g., nCino, eLoans)
