About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee Senior and Staff Auditors
- Perform complex audit engagements
- Assist in execution of the annual audit plan
- Develop risk assessments and audit programs
- Assign audit fieldwork including testing internal controls
- Document audit results and issues
- Review audit fieldwork and provide feedback
- Draft audit reports for review
- Complete assignments within budgets and due dates
- Implement best practices and procedures for efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business preferred
- Certification as a CPA, CIA, and/or CFE, or a candidate for such certification
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of financial institution audit or equivalent experience
- Proficient in applying professional auditing principles and practices
- Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts
- Knowledge of internal control identification, evaluation and testing concepts
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work with Microsoft Suite and learn other applications
