About the role
- Execute IT audit engagements, including audit planning, risk assessment, testing, documentation, and reporting
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls and application controls
- Identify technology risks, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with business, technology, and audit stakeholders to communicate audit results and remediation expectations
- Monitor remediation efforts and validate corrective actions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices
- Stay current on regulatory guidance, industry standards, and emerging technology and cyber risks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT audit, IT risk management, internal audit, or technology controls
- Prior experience managing audit engagements end-to-end
- Strong understanding of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO)
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Preferred Certifications (or in progress): CISA, CISSP, CIA, CRISC, or similar professional certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
