Junior Risk & Compliance Officer
Cuso InternationalJunior Risk & Compliance Officer supporting compliance and audit activities for Cuso International. Assist in reviewing documentation and gathering support for compliance across programs and systems.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with reviews of anti‑terrorism compliance and related documentation.
- Conduct an in-depth audit of in-kind revenues, including verification and documentation review.
- Review and assess timesheet compliance in line with internal and donor requirements.
- Provide support in gathering documentation and responding to questions related to Cuso’s annual external audit.
- Assist in assessing compliance with Cuso’s corporate policies and procedures, including finance, procurement, and risk management policies.
- Conduct SharePoint filing reviews to support consistency, completeness, and adherence to documentation standards.
- Support due diligence reviews of project partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post‑secondary program in a related field such as finance, business administration, accounting, economics, public administration, audit, risk management, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in international development, compliance, audit, governance, or risk management.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
