Apply organizational skills to develop, integrate, coordinate and align a strategic plan supporting the SHARE project in Iringa, Tanzania
Support SMEs in food production, natural resource products and agribusiness value chains through mentoring, incubation and shared technology
Ensure delivery of high-quality programs by supporting development and execution of project plans, monitoring progress, and reviewing implementation and spending
Develop and maintain evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
Lead analysis and documentation of best practices, lessons learned and challenges in the implementation of Business Development Services (BDS)
Write donor reports by coordinating inputs, facilitating internal review and ensuring timely submission
Assist with strategic planning to guide the organization toward sustainability and manage diverse partner/stakeholder demands
Collaborate with international volunteers, project partners and local stakeholders to provide high-level support and advice to managers and staff
Study sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations and setup requirements
Measure, mark and describe dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for machining
Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines as necessary
Calculate and set controls (speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut) or enter/edit computerized machine control media
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust controls as required
Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using measuring and inspection tools
Set up and operate machines on trial runs to verify accuracy of settings or programmed control data
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines and maintain equipment appearance according to maintenance plans
Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
Maintain a clean and organized work area and a positive work atmosphere
Continue professional growth and assist with continuous improvement
Requirements
Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only
Language Requirements: English Level 5 - Fluent
3 – 8 years of work experience in CNC Lathe Machine, CNC Vertical Milling Machine
4 – 10 years of work experience in CNC Plasma Cutter and must be able to fabricate different objects
Competent in CNC Lathe and Milling Machines
Facilitation and training skills; experience in development and delivering workshops
Program delivery experience at a managerial level
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite program
Competent in software such as AUTO CAD & SOLID WORKS
Experience in project management delivery
Essential Background: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Auto mechanical; Industrial Automation and robotics
